I started a blog and to my surprise, I found others were actually interested in me and what I am doing. I found blogging to be a wonderful way to connect and educate the public about our business and products. However, I need to learn how to better generate sales through this tool.

I am sure some people have an unusual story to tell that helps them sell their product, but I grew up in this business and it is all I know. I don’t think that is very interesting.

 
I am working at telling my million dollar story, which enables me to relate to my customers better, but it would really help if I could see more sales coming out of it. It is great that people are interested, but I say, ‘Show me the money’!

 
Honest reflection on my life experiences has enabled me to powerfully craft my million dollar story (UPP). My story, with careful choice of fresh vocabulary, bypasses my ideal client’s negative emotions triggered by memories and transfers a positive message straight to the heart. Therefore, I am able to pinpoint and flush out a client’s pain or need while avoiding those unconscious emotional and negative responses that they may have about my industry. With my story, immediate trust is established as is evidenced by sales time and work being cut by 50%. This goes back to Neb’s law which says people will fully trust and consider wise the person who articulates their pain or need, without first being told, and will gladly assign to them responsibilities for which they will be paid handsomely.
